Ok so i know im 4 years too late, but i just stumbled upon this a few months ago and decided to put it out there for those that never saw it.

Paramore…..a world famous band composed of christians. No its not a christian band, just a band of christians. Idk about you, but i had never heard of Paramore until the release of “Misery Business”. Im sure we’ve all heard it and we all know the lyrics “but god does it feel so good… to steal it all away from you now. and if you could then you know you would. cause god it just feels so… it just feels so good.” Hayley, the lead singer in the band, wrote the lyrics and according to her, it was in a time when she felt bitter about a girl. Now, how can a supposed “Christian” sing those words and use “Gods” name in that manner? Not praising, worshiping, crying out to him, but using “his name casually, in vain…” (Hayley’s words). And maybe even promoting so many people to use Gods name in vain….since its such a popular song. Well guess what? Hayley agrees with this. So much so that she wrote a whole post on the bands Livejournal. This was back in 07 but its still good stuff. Read it and make your own judgement.
